HomeBlue Chip Program

Following the Chip Program results in well rounded, healthy chapters.  The requirements are designed to ensure that chapters offer balanced programming for its members.  The Chip program is a guideline for a chapter's yearly plan of action.  This guideline will ensure that a chapter is a well balanced/well-rounded chapter.  Green Chip is for new extensions.  Blue Chip is for established chapters.  Red Chip takes chapters from probationary status to full status.

The Green Chip program serves as a ninety-day activation program for newly extended chapters.

The Blue Chip program is for established chapters.  It ensures chapters offer balanced programming for its members, resulting in strong membership renewals and growth.  2012 National Submission Deadlines for Blue Chip are as follows:

  • 1st Quarter Evaluation: April 30, 2012
  • Mid Year Evaluation: July 31, 2012
  • 3rd Quarter Evaluation: October 31, 2012
  • Year End Evaluation: January 31, 2013

The Red Chip Program is a 90-day program to re-activate a probationary status chapter. Chapters must complete the Certification Form within the designated time period, attach all requested documentation, and submit it to their state offices.
